Group Getaways and Short Term Accommodation (STA)

Camps for school aged young people

Camps are offered every school holidays and some weekends for small groups of young people already engaged with Quest TS. Camps are run by therapists, therapy assistants and support workers and offer an intensive therapeutic opportunity for young people. At Quest we like to “do therapy” differently and you will never see us in clinic – we think change making happens best in context; at home, at school and on camp. Young people work on frustration tolerance, group skills, communication, negotiation and independent living skills. Some of the past locations for camps have included Silverton, Bright in Victoria, Port Lincoln, Yorke Peninsula and the Copper Coast. About half of our camps are off-grid and young people sleep in individual swags and learn to cook on a fire and manage their needs in a vastly different context. We also offers “camps” that are more “glamps” with accommodation such as shacks and cabins. Information about camps will be sent via email to interested parties

Getaways for 18+

Group getaways are offered for adults 18+ approximately six times per year. These getaways are a chance to rest, relax, learn new skills and make new social connections. Getaways allow for some perspective, and possibly an opportunity for those who provide informal day to day support to have a rest and recharge also.

Individual Short term accommodation

Quest TS has a four bedrooms home in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Individuals can arrange to spend some time with us when a break is needed or a chance to learn some independent living skills away from the home environment.

We can also arrange individually tailored Short term accommodation in a different location – such as close to the beach or perhaps in the city. If you would like to discuss your needs please contact us.
